Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-13. Era of Warlords is a client-side game with no account system and no backend server — this page explains the little data that is involved.

Game data

Era of Warlords does not require an account and does not run a backend server. Your game progress (map, turn, territories) is saved only in your browser's local storage on your own device. We never see this data, and it never leaves your device — clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device will not carry it over.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people play and which pages/eras are popular. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect anonymized usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info.

Third parties

This site is served from Cloudflare, and uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else, because we do not collect any in the first place beyond what these third-party services gather automatically.
